I did something I’ve never done before, I sent my dog out with a professional handler.
With a lot of family events coming up I could not make it to any of the shows in York, Pa. There were five shows from Wednesday March 14 through Sunday March 18th. I was a little nervous to let Bill go, but he was just fine. He is a happy guy who gets along well with other dogs and people.
He still needs work on the table, (he hates it!) but he moves beautifully and that tail is always wagging. Bill managed to impress the judge everyday.
In five days he got Winners dog and Best of winners with a three point major on Sunday. He got a total of seven points. Now he has eleven points. WOW! I think Bill has some real potential.
It will be exciting to see how he does at the next show. I’ll be taking him to the Harrisburg Kennel Club in a couple of weeks. Their show starts on Friday, April 13 and goes through Sunday April 15. You can find out more at http://www.hkc.org/april_show.htm.
