The Lehigh Valley Kennel Club and The Delaware Water Gap Kennel Club always have their shows around Christmas time. The atmosphere is festive and fun.
Unfortunately the entries were very low this year. There were only four Smooth Coat Chihuahuas entered. Rocky won breed both days which was nice. It was very pleasant not to have to travel very far, the shows were ten minutes from my house. The weather was also quite snowy. I stayed for group but did not win anything. I have really come to enjoy my dog show friends more and more throughout the years. It was a good weekend and a good year.
GCH El Grande Rock of Love Bobchi aka Rocky finished 2013 as the #2 Smooth Coat Chihuahua in Pennsylvania. He also ranked as the # 2 S.C. Chihuahua in Owner Handler points in Pa. as well. It is so great to have such a wonderful dog. I am so proud of him.
