Entries to our show close in December and the new breeds were officially recognized Jan 1 so they will have to wait a year!”

Last year, a 5 year old German Shepherd out of Wisconsin called Rumor (Lockenhaus’ Rumor Has It V Kenlyn) became only the second of its breed win to Best in Show in the event’s history. Her handler, co-owner, and cobreeder was Kent Boyles. [See: Westminster 2017 Wrap-up; Rumor Wins Best In Show].

After winning more than 100 best in show awards, Rumor was retired from competition – to become a Mother! In August 2017 she eight puppies (four girls and four boys). [Read story…]
