Philadelphia Cluster

It was rainy and cold as we left for the Penn Treaty Kennel Club show on November 17th. The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center is a nice venue, large and airy. The show is well attended. There are four shows in this cluster. The one on Sunday ("the National Dog Show") is televised on Thanksgiving. I would only attend Thursday's show. We arrived early and settled in. Rocky Featured in Articles for Westminister 2011

Earlier this year, Rocky was featured in two pieces from a local newspaper called "The Morning Call" about the Westminster 2011 competition. In the article entitled "All Creatures Great and Small", the caption reads "Rocky, a smooth-coat Chihuahua, will compete in this year's Westminister dog show. A good weekend at Back Mountain Kennel Club shows in Bloomsburg

Last Saturday I showed Bill and Rocky at Back Mountain Kennel Club shows in Bloomsburg. I wasn't feeling up to going on Saturday, I had a bad cold all week. But it was a beautiful sunny day and off we went. I did not enter Ted at these shows, he has some growing up to do. He is quite the willful boy. I hope to bring him out again after I finish Bill. More Adventures of Bill and Ted (and Rocky)

More dog shows have come and gone.  Bill and Ted are doing well.  Bill has really turned out nicely as he has gotten older.  Many judges have admired him. Ted although cute as can be is just plain willful.  At the Bucks County Kennel Club show which was outside,  Bill might have gotten the 4 point major if he had just walked.  He did get reserve.  The same thing happened at The Valley Forge show.
